When will Microsoft Fix Windows Mail?
Automatically set itself up with email accounts from WLMD beta. Had to reload Newsgroup list... not unexpected. Looks like only one new language at this point... Korean. Recommend - turn Active search off for more real estate and less distraction.

Right now, people are just seeing the Active Search so either they're testing that and removing the ads or whos knows for sure. If you're seeing ads, be sure you have the latest buiild 1226 8.0.1226 is the full version. Is it possible to use WLMD without adverts by, eg, using a paid for Hotmail account? Norbert.

WLMd is going to be replaced very soon. The new program will just be called 'Windows Live Mail'. It will be the successor to Outlook Express, WLMd & Windows Mail which is found on Vista. From what I have heard it will be free and contain no advertising. You should expect to see a beta release of it soon.
